On November 29, 2009, JANIE; beloved daughter of the late Jimmie and Blanche Powell passed away at home after a long illness. She is survived by a brother, Malcolm Powell and four sisters, Mary Macon (Matthew Macon), Betty Sutherland, Gloria Braxton and Antoinette Powell. The family will receive friends at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Home, 5151 Baltimore National Pike on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from 5 to 8 P.M. Interment private.
