B ill Milne in Sykesville asks: "How close are we getting to a record for annual rainfall?" Good question after a very rainy autumn, but remember we started 2009 with a dry winter. BWI has seen 47.51 inches through November. That's nearly 9 inches above the January-through-November average. But it's a long way from the record 62.66 inches that fell in all of 2003. We could easily end up with the third- or fourth-wettest year of the past 20.
