Eric Atkins

Mount St. Joseph, guard, senior

The point guard, a four-year starter, brings poise and energy at both ends of the court as the Gaels' floor general. He averaged 22 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in earning Baltimore Catholic League Player of the Year honors as a junior. Atkins has signed with Notre Dame.

Brandon Belt

Arundel, guard, senior

Precise from the perimeter and explosive to the basket, the point guard averaged an Anne Arundel County-high 20 points for Southern last season. With a stronger supporting cast at Arundel, his talents could put the Wildcats over the top this season.

Dylon Cormier

Cardinal Gibbons, guard, senior

He can score from outside, by driving to the basket or getting to the foul line. Cormier - who has signed with Loyola College - has already picked up where he left off last season with a 46-point performance in a season-opening win against Severn last week.

Derrell Edwards

Dunbar, guard, senior

Edwards, 6 feet 2, can score from anywhere. He averaged 19 points as a junior, and he also possesses other key intangibles. Edwards, who has signed with Texas A&M-Corpus; Christi, defends well, sees the entire floor and can provide help on the boards (five rebounds per game).

Jonathan Graham

Calvert Hall, forward, senior

The 6-foot-8 Graham became a dominant player down low for the Cardinals last season, averaging 15 points and 10 rebounds to earn first-team All-Metro honors. The four-year starter will create constant matchup problems in the post with his aggressive play.

Dante Holmes

St. Frances, forward, senior

The 6-foot-3 swingman brings athleticism, intensity and leadership to the floor. He averaged 15 points and six rebounds for the Panthers last season. Holmes thrives when the game is on the line, and he can do a number of things to contribute to a win.

Justin Kuntz

Glen Burnie, forward, senior

The 6-foot-7 power forward does it all at both ends for the Gophers, having averaged 17 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks last season. He saved his best for when it counted most, averaging 27 points and 14 rebounds in three playoff games.

Jordan Latham

City, center, senior

Latham, 6 feet 8, who averaged 11 points and eight rebounds last season, becomes the focal point for the 2A state champion Knights. With good length and athleticism, the Xavier-bound Latham can score with his back to the basket or take defenders off the dribble.

Matt Robinson

Atholton, forward, senior

Strong and athletic with a fine court sense, Robinson, 6 feet 4, consistently puts up solid numbers and also does all the little things that win games. Last season, he averaged 11 points, seven rebounds, three steals and three assists to lead the Raiders to the state tournament. Robinson has committed to play football at Maryland.

Davon Usher

Digital Harbor, forward, senior

The 6-foot-5 small forward, who signed with Texas A&M-Corpus; Christi, has polished offensive skills. He has the ability to handle the ball and create his own shot or set up teammates. After averaging 16 points, 10 rebounds and four assists last season, he'll be relied on even more in his senior year.
