No. 16 Georgetown men rout Mount St. Mary's, 83-62

Greg Monroe scored a season-high 19 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, Chris Wright added a season-high 18 points and No. 16 Georgetown remained undefeated with an 83-62 win over visiting Mount St. Mary's on Monday night. Julian Vaughn had a career-high 14 points and matched his career best with eight rebounds and three blocks for the Hoyas (5-0), , who went on an 11-2 run to open the second half. Jean Cajou scored 16 points and Tayvon Jackson added 11 for the Mountaineers (3-3). ... Chris Harris banked in a half-court shot at the buzzer to lift Navy (3-4) to a 65-62 victory over visiting Quinnipiac (3-2), which had tied the game with 2.4 seconds left.

Honors: : Harris was named Patriot League men's Player of the Week. ... Maryland freshman forward Diandra Tchatchouang was named Atlantic Coast Conference women's Rookie of the Week ... Orioles executive Krivsky leaves for position with Mets

Wayne Krivsky, one of Andy MacPhail's top assistants in the Orioles' front office for the past year, has left the organization to take a similar position with the New York Mets, team sources confirmed. Krivsky, who joined the Orioles in November as special assistant to the president of baseball operations, will work under Mets general manager Omar Minaya. Krivsky served as a special assistant to Minaya in 2008 before being hired by the Orioles. Before his first stint with the Mets, Krivsky was the executive vice president and general manager of the Cincinnati Reds for two years. He didn't return a call from The Baltimore Sun on Monday night seeking comment. His departure was first reported by Krivsky, 55, kept a low profile in his only season with the Orioles. While he had a role in some contract negotiating, his primary duty was scouting the Orioles' minor league system and other organizations. Krivsky was instrumental in the December trade that sent catcher Ramon Hernandez to Cincinnati for utility player Ryan Freel and infield prospects Justin Turner and Brandon Waring. College football: : Maryland wide receiver Adrian Cannon, who had 44 receptions this season, was one of 22 student-athletes from around the country to receive the Academic Momentum Award, which honors off-the-field accomplishments, including classroom achievement and community service. ... Terps linebacker Alex Wujciak was named to the all-Atlantic Coast Conference first team in a vote of 40 members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association. Torrey Smith made the second team as a wide receiver and a return specialist. ... Louisiana-Monroe will not renew the contract of coach Charlie Weatherbie, who was Navy's coach from 1995 to 2001. Weatherbie was 31-51 with the Warhawks, including 6-6 this season.
