Capital Gazette wins special Pulitzer Prize citation for coverage of newsroom shooting that killed five



On November 17, 2009, EDWARD THOMAS ROBERTSON, SR., beloved husband of 61 years, to the late Margaret D. Robertson (nee Vogel), devoted father of Edward T. Robertson, Jr. and his wife Marie and Mark A. Robertson and his wife Joan; loving grandfather of Kimberly A. Stoltzfus, Mark A. Robertson, Jr., Jocelyn L. Robertson and the late Lari L. Robertson; great-grandfather of Carly M. and Braden E. Stoltzfus; dear brother of Anna E. Lambert, Grace M. Benvenga and the late Elizabeth M. Ustasiewski and Henry A. Robertson. Mr. Robertson joined the Army in 1939. He was stationed at Fort Shafter near Pearl Harbor and witnessed the attack. He took part in several invasions in the Pacific, including the Philipines and Okinawa. He was discharged in 1945. Mr. Robertson is a former President of the Maryland Chapter of the Pearl Harbor Survivors and volunteer with the Maryland Department of Veteran Affairs. He also belonged to the Catholic War Veterans and the American Legion. A funeral service will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk Inc, 7922 Wise Avenue, on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M.
