Steve Hauschka has made eight of 11 field-goal tries in his first season as Ravens kicker but had critical misses against the Minnesota Vikings on Oct. 18 and the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Both missed kicks hooked left. The kick against the Vikings was to win the game as time ran out.
"Steve works really hard; he's really got a lot of talent. He's our best option," coach John Harbaugh said Tuesday night on his weekly radio show on WBAL.

BROWNS: : Cleveland is not making an official announcement regarding its quarterback situation until today, but two sources told ESPN.com that the team probably will name Brady Quinn as the starter for Monday night's game against the Ravens.
Quinn started Cleveland's first three games before coach Eric Mangini switched to former Raven Derek Anderson during the third game, which was against the Ravens.
Anderson is coming off a 6-for-17 performance with two interceptions in a 30-6 loss to the Bears. He has thrown two touchdown passes and nine interceptions while going 1-4 as a starter. He is ranked last in the league in quarterback rating and has a passer rating of only 3.1 in the fourth quarter.
In other news, linebacker Eric Barton (Maryland), the team's leading tackler, will miss the rest of the season with an unspecified injury.
ESPN.com had previously reported that Barton, 32, has a bulging disc in his neck and was contemplating surgery. Last month, the Browns lost their other inside linebacker, D'Qwell Jackson (Maryland), to a season-ending shoulder injury.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit affirmed Judge David Doty's order saying Vick earned the bonuses before his dogfighting conviction, so the money wasn't subject to forfeiture.
Vick served 18 months in prison and is now with Philadelphia.
