HOUSE OKS HISTORIC HEALTH BILL

After being urged on by President Barack Obama, the House voted 220-215 late Saturday to approve the measure, which would offer coverage to tens of millions of Americans who lack it. The vote came despite Republican criticism and defections by Frank M. Kratovil and other conservative Democrats. Action now shifts to the Senate, where debate could last the rest of the year.
