City police probe death of man found shot in vehicle
Baltimore police were investigating the death of a man found shot in the head early Monday in the Idlewood neighborhood. Curtis Shepherd, 36, was found about 4:25 a.m. inside a vehicle at Cedarcroft and Falkirk roads, police said. There was no information about suspects or motive.

Man fatally shot; suspect eludes police
A man was fatally shot in the 2900 block of The Alameda about 3:30 p.m. on Monday, according to city police. The man was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim is believed to be in his late teens or early 20s. Police had what they believed to be a suspect surrounded in a rowhome in the 1500 block of E. 29th St. shortly after the shooting. But after a more than four-hour standoff, the suspect was never found. Police do not have a motive in the shooting.

Man stabbed in arms on street in Hanover
Anne Arundel County police said a man was stabbed in both arms about 11 a.m. Saturday in the 6900 block of Ridge Road in Hanover when he got into an argument with at least one other person. Police arrested two people. Otoniel Antonio Aguilar-Malendrez, 32, of the 6900 block of Ridge Road in Hanover was charged with assault and related counts. A second suspect, Cesar Alfonso Aguilar-Malendrez, 34, of the same address, who police said threw a machete into the woods when officers approached him, was charged with possession of a concealed deadly weapon.

Fallston man charged with fireworks possession
A Fallston man was charged over the weekend with possession of fireworks with intent to discharge, according to the state fire marshal's office. The Harford County sheriff's office received a complaint Saturday that fireworks were to be set off in the 2500 block of Derby Drive. Deputies and fire marshals went to the house and found that Kent Prinn, 46, had set up tubes to set off the fireworks later that evening. The fireworks were seized and Prinn received a criminal citation, authorities said.
