Don't miss

Goodbye Solo ***1/2 (3 1/2 stars)It has the sneaky power and strong flavor of a first-class regional short story. Souleymane Sy Savane plays a Sengalese cabbie in Winston-Salem, N.C., who develops genuine affection and concern for an aged, rough-hewn down-home boy played by the amazing Red West, a former bodyguard for Elvis Presley. It's about flying solo through life and making a difficult farewell. Few bigger films leave you feeling at once so low and so high.
