Central Baltimore

Victim identified Police released Sunday the name of the man who was shot Thursday afternoon outside a carryout in Reservoir Hill and died a short time later at an area hospital. Caneil Fullwood, 29, whose address was not available, was shot multiple times shortly before 5 p.m. while he was standing outside Friendly Carryout in the 700 block of W. North Ave. near Linden Avenue. Police said Fullwood was taken by a city Fire Department ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he died less than an hour later without naming his assailant.

Northeastern Baltimore

Bank robbery Police and the FBI were seeking a man wearing a wig who robbed Provident Bank in the 5200 block of Belair Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 11 a.m. Saturday and escaped in an unidentified vehicle. Anyone having information about the robber's identity or his whereabouts is asked to call the district police at 410-396-2444 or the Baltimore office of the FBI at 410-265-8080.

Homicide City homicide detectives continue to seek the person who shot a 23-year-old man outside an apartment building in the 5800 block of Edgepark Road near Ramblewood Road about 3 a.m. Thursday. The victim was shot in the upper body and died about 30 minutes later at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southwest Baltimore

Arrest Police were in the 200 block of Pulaski St. about 8 a.m. Saturday when they observed a man wanted on warrants charging him with sex offenses in Baltimore County. After a short foot pursuit, police arrested Charles Briggs, 37. Officers said they found a loaded .25-caliber semiautomatic handgun in his possession. Briggs was being held at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Southeastern Baltimore

Shooting A woman, 29, was walking in the 100 block of N. Potomac St. about 9 p.m. Friday when she heard several gunshots and was then struck in the right hand and right leg. The woman ran to the 100 block of S. Decker Ave., where she was found by police. She was then taken to Shock Trauma for treatment. No arrest had been made. Police said it was not known whether the woman was the intended target.

Baltimore Co. -- Woodlawn

Robbery try/arrests Two men were arrested early Saturday and have been charged with attempting to rob the occupants of a room at Motel 8 in the 1600 block of Whitehead Road a short time earlier. After the men, one armed with a baseball bat, forced their way into a room about 2 a.m. and attempted to rob a man, 22, and a woman, 23, one of the victims dialed 911. Minutes later, police arrived on the scene and arrested the men and recovered the bat. Charged with attempted robbery were Antoine D. Bowman and Joseph Sharp, whose ages and addresses were not available.
