'Good Food for Good Health' at Graul's
The Anne Arundel County Department of Health holds "Good Food for Good Health" weekends at Graul's markets to help consumers select nutritious, low-fat, high-fiber foods.
Health educators at nutrition booths will offer information, answer questions and hand out take-home bags with healthy recipes, brochures and a magnet.
Hours for the program are 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. The program will be at the 1388 Cape St. Claire Road store today; and Friday, Saturday and March 29 at the 607 Taylor Ave. store, both in Annapolis. Information: 410-222-4144.

* BWCC Annual Meeting, Business of the Year Awards and Board Election: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at BWI Marriott, 1743 W. Nursery Road, Linthicum. Keynote speaker Anirban Basu, chairman and chief executive office of the Sage Policy Group, will discuss "The Economic State of the Corridor." The cost is $65 for members in advance, $80 for nonmembers, and $90 at the door. Tables of 10 are $600.
* Multi-Chamber Power Networking: 7:30 a.m. April 1 at Hellas Restaurant, 8489 Veterans Highway, Millersville. The BWI Business Partnership will hold its monthly signature breakfast meeting at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport, 1739 W. Nursery Road, Linthicum. Nariman Farvardin, senior vice president for Academic Affairs and provost of the University of Maryland, is responsible for all academic programs at College Park. He will discuss the university's future.

Public relations ethics
The Public Relations Society of America, Central Chesapeake chapter, will meet at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at 49 West Coffeehouse. Members will lead small group discussions on ethical issues in public relations, using PRSA's Code of Ethics as a guideline.
The cost is $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers. The meeting is open to anyone who performs public relations tasks.

Morton's the Steakhouse in Annapolis will hold Pernod absinthe tastings during "Absinthe, The Green Hour" 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at 100 Westgate Circle.
The event features a Pernod absinthe guide demonstrating the ritual serving of the drink. Three absinthe cocktails - Monkey Gland, Sazerac and Le Deuce - will be served with Morton's signature hors d'oeuvres.
