One and two half men in Sheen household

Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen and his wife, Brooke Mueller Sheen, are the parents of twin boys.

Publicist Stan Rosenfield says the babies, Bob and Max, were born Saturday night in Los Angeles.

Rosenfield says Mueller Sheen is "doing great" and the father is "ecstatic."

Obama to visit Leno

The White House says President Barack Obama will appear this week on Jay Leno's talk show.

Obama will visit The Tonight Show With Jay Leno during his trip to Los Angeles on Thursday. NBC will air it that night.

Imus has cancer

Don Imus said he has prostate cancer, but the radio personality expressed confidence in a full recovery.

Imus, 68, made the announcement yesterday on his morning show from New York. Imus said he has early-stage cancer, which means it hasn't spread outside the prostate.

Ron Silver dies

Actor Ron Silver has died in New York City after a two-year battle with esophageal cancer.

The Creative Coalition executive director Robin Bronk says the 62-year-old, who co-founded the nonprofit, died peacefully in his sleep with his family around him early Sunday morning.

Silver won a Tony Award in David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow and earned an Emmy nomination for a recurring role on The West Wing.
