On February 25, 2009, with his devoted wife Joyce by his side, departed this life after a long illness. He's also survived by daughters, Lynn, Karen and Shemin; brothers Roland, Guy, Stanley and Gregory and a host of family and friends. On TODAY, services will be held at Unity Church of Washington, 700 A Street, NE, Washington, DC, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 A.M with services to follow.
