Craig Morgan River Hill, indoor track

Morgan, a senior, set state and school records at last weekend's indoor track state championships and propelled the Hawks to a fourth-place finish overall. Morgan scored 20 of his team's 26 points by winning the 1,600 meters in a state Class 2A record time of 4 minutes, 21.96 seconds and then won the 3,200 meters in a school-record 9:44.05. Besides excelling at indoor track, Morgan was a state cross country champion in the fall and carries a 3.67 grade-point average, 4.2 weighted.

Jen Cimino Hereford, indoor track

The senior won two individual events and helped in two strong relay finishes as the Bulls took second in the state Class 3A indoor track championships. Cimino won the 1,600 and 800-meter runs. She also ran on the second-place 3,200-meter relay and the fifth-place 1,600-meter relay. She had a hand in 30 of her team's 51 points. Cimino also plays soccer and has a 3.0 grade-point average.
