Burglary Someone broke into a house in the 1800 block of McCulloh St. through the front door between Friday night and early Saturday while the 34-year-old male occupant was sleeping and removed a 54-inch TV, a 32-inch TV, an 8-inch portable TV and two coats. Total value of the property was nearly $1,800. The occupant slept through the burglary and was awakened by police who noticed the open door while on patrol.
Assault Police were seeking a man, 28, accused of seriously assaulted a woman, 31, in her home in the 200 block of S. Dallas Court early Saturday. The woman suffered injuries to her head, arm and face. She was treated at Mercy Medical Center and released. A warrant has been issued for the man, charging him with aggravated assault. His name was withheld pending his arrest.
Theft A 2005 Volvo was parked in the 700 block of S. Decker Ave. on Friday when someone entered the vehicle through a side window and stole identification, credit cards and a checkbook.
Assault A woman, 36, and her boyfriend, 47, were arguing in her home in the 200 block of N. Bethel Court about 2 a.m. Saturday when the man choked the woman and threatened her with a knife. The man, whose name was not released, fled the dwelling and was being sought. The woman was not seriously injured.

Vandalism Someone spray-painted "Big Dumb 321" on an exterior wall at Seven Oaks Elementary School in the 9200 block of Seven Courts Drive between Friday night and early Saturday. Anyone with information is urged to call the precinct at 410-887-5310.
Thefts/arrests Two males, whose names were not available, were detained by security officers Saturday outside Super Fresh in the 7700 block of Harford Road after they left the store without paying for headache medication valued at $26. The suspects were turned over to police and charged with theft. At the same store Saturday night, security officers detained a man, 49, when he attempted to leave without paying for body wash valued at $25. He also was arrested and charged with theft.

Robbery try A boy, 14, was standing in the foyer of an apartment building in the 8200 block of Church Lane about 2 p.m. Saturday when he was accosted by two other males, one known as "Tank," who demanded his money and property. When the victim refused to comply, he was knocked to the floor, where one of his attackers attempted to rob him. During the attempt, the victim got to his feet and fled the building. The pair were being sought.

Burglary Someone broke into a house in the 4000 block of Virginia Ave. in Lansdowne after using an outside cooking grill to shatter a basement window and stole a 42-inch TV valued at $2,000.
