Northeastern Baltimore

Shooting A man, 23, was walking in the 2400 block of Belair Road about 8 p.m. Saturday when he was shot in the face by one of two men who fled on foot. The victim ran into a nearby grocery store, whose employees called police. The man was reported in serious condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital. No arrests had been made.

Northern Baltimore

Robbery try/shooting Police were seeking a man armed with a shotgun who shot another man, 44, in the buttocks about 11:45 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of E. 32nd St. during an attempted robbery. The victim left his car and was walking toward a nightclub on Greenmount Avenue when he was stopped by the gunman, who demanded his money. Police said the victim turned to flee and was shot. The victim was taken by ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. His condition was not available.

Central Baltimore

Shooting Police continue to seek a man who shot another man about 3 a.m. Saturday while the victim waited for a friend on the stairway of a parking garage in the 1000 block of N. Charles St. After being shot in the upper right leg, the victim, 27, hailed a cab and was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital. Police said the victim was expected to survive. Anyone with information is asked to call district detectives at 410-396-2411.

Baltimore Co. -- Cockeysville

Burglary/arrests Moments after at least one male broke into a house in the 3400 block of Baker School House Road about noon Friday, the male occupant gave chase before calling police and giving them a description of a vehicle that sped off. A short time later, police stopped a vehicle matching the description on Interstate 83 near Middletown Road and arrested two men and a woman. Their names were being withheld pending burglary and other charges.
