Wendell Carter Worley, 79, of FL, died Friday, January 9, 2009. Wendell was born April 29, 1929, in Baltimore, MD, to the late Edward A. Worley and Violet T. (Carter) Worley. He received his BS degree in Civil Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and worked for Bethlehem Steele until retirement. He was also a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Additionally, Wendell was a certified scuba diver, active cyclist and swimmer. His survivors include daughter Vanessa D. Wyrick and her husband Frank of Baltimore, MD, and son Timothy A. Worley of Ridgecrest, CA. He is also survived by granddaughter Jennifer L. Wyrick and former wife Hazel J. Worley. Donations can be made to Northside Presbyterian Church in Melbourne, FL.
