BOLT *** 1/2 ( 3 1/2 STARS) Disney proved there's life in the Mouse House yet with this ode to a dog who thinks he's a superhero and the girl who loves him just for being a dog. The movie has been packing them in at theaters showcasing it in digital 3-D, but its essential and considerable joy comes from watching Bolt, a TV action star who mistakes his fantasy adventures for reality, learn, finally, how to act like a dog.

Notorious : (Fox Searchlight) The life and death story of Notorious B.I.G., who took the world of rap music by storm. With Angela Bassett and Jamal Woolard.

Paul Blart Mall Cop : (Columbia Pictures) A mild-mannered security guard becomes a hero when a shopping mall is overtaken by a gang of thugs. With Kevin James and Keir O'Donnell.

The Wrestler: (Fox Searchlight) A one-time professional wrestler lives for the thrill of the show until a heart attack forces him to evaluate the state of his life. With Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei.
