Shooting A man was shot about 8 p.m. yesterday in an attempted robbery of a liquor store in 1100 block of Maryland Ave. Police said an employee struggled with the gunman outside the store and was shot. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Police said the gunman escaped.
Theft A blue 2009 Yamaha motor scooter valued at $2,400 was parked in front of a store in the 900 block of N. Chester St. on Monday when it was stolen by two males who were seen carrying it down the street.
Theft Someone entered Budget Rental in the 3300 block of E. Monument St. on Monday and removed the catalytic converters from two trucks.
Robbery An employee of Sports Express in the 2300 block of E. Monument St. was about to close the store about 6 p.m. Monday when two men entered and forced the employee to give them an undisclosed sum of money. Also taken by the men were six pairs of boots.
Theft A navigational system valued at $150 was stolen Tuesday from a 2003 Ford truck parked in the 2900 block of E. Biddle St.
Robbery A man, 27, and a woman were walking in the 2000 block of W. Patapsco Ave. about 5 p.m. Tuesday when two apparently unarmed younger males struck the man in the mouth and knocked him to the pavement. While the victim was down, one of his attackers robbed the man of his wallet containing $60 and credit cards before both escaped on bicycles. The woman was not attacked.
Stolen vehicle A green 1996 Dodge van with tags M460177 was stolen Monday night in the 2500 block of S. Paca St.
Theft A navigational system, a camera and a radio, all valued at $1,500, were stolen Friday from a 2005 Chrysler parked on a lot in the first block of E. Lee St. by someone who broke one of the vehicle's windows with a brick.

Vandalism Police were seeking at least two males who shattered the front window of a house in the 8000 block of Ridgetown Drive about 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Burglary An undisclosed sum of money was taken Tuesday night from the cash register at Great Day Cafe in the 9500 block of Deerco Road by someone who entered after breaking a window.
