How Brangelina keep their kids' little hands busy this time of year
What will Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie give their six kids for Christmas? Something preferably handmade, says Pitt.
"We do exchange gifts, although we don't feel any pressure to make them big or expensive gifts," the 44-year-old actor tells Hello! magazine.
"The kids don't ask for the big gifts for the reason that they don't see a lot of the American cartoon television, which is packed with all those manipulative commercials," he said.
He also has the kids make their own gifts: "The rule is that everyone's got to make something for someone else. ... Then, when they give to each other, it's really sweet."
Hilton loses gems
An estimated $2 million worth of jewelry and other belongings was stolen from the home of Paris Hilton, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The incident occurred at 5 a.m. yesterday at Hilton's Hollywood Hills home. The burglar, or burglars, got into the house through an unlocked door, according to LAPD sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
According to detectives, a man wearing a hooded sweat shirt and gloves ransacked Hilton's bedroom, took unknown property and fled, said Officer April Harding. Hilton, 27, was not home at the time. The burglary was reported by a security guard at the home.

Hitting a rough patch?
Us Weekly says the four-year marriage of Jennifer Lopez, 39, and Marc Anthony, 40, has "hit the rocks," as they have become bored with marriage.
"She wanted this domestic life, but now she's bored out of her mind," an anonymous source tells the magazine. "She wants the old J. Lo back."
Also, the magazine says, Anthony has been flirting with women at various nightclubs.
A representative for Anthony told Us Weekly that the couple "are doing great. No further comments."
Shipping themselves
Unable to find affordable transportation to and lodging in the nation's capital for President-elect Barack Obama's Jan. 20 inauguration, one group of supporters came up with a unique way to deal with both: a ship.
Calling it the "Yes We Can 2009 Inauguration Cruise," the group has rented a 500-room cruise ship and plans to charge $1,000 a person to sail from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to Baltimore, then take charter buses to Washington for the inaugural festivities.
"I had been volunteering for Senator Obama since Iowa, so there was no doubt in my mind that I would be there on Inauguration Day," said Karen M. Phillips, an Obama campaign volunteer who helped organize the cruise. "No, looking at it on television would not be good enough. It became a personal mission of mine to put something together that was economically reasonable and entertaining."
Inauguration and tourism officials estimate that between 2 million and 4 million people will be in Washington for the event.
After soaking up the historical moment of Obama's swearing-in and sampling inaugural balls, Phillips and her group will set sail for the Bahamas.
