MARY A. BOGDAN, 91, of Northampton, PA, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, December 7, 2008, at her daughter's home with whom she resided. She was the wife of the late Vincent J. Bogdan who died in 1969. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Walters) Savage. Mary was employed by K-MART, Middlesex, MD, for 28 years before retiring in 1976. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Whitehall, PA. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, former secretary for the Berkshire Golden Age Club, Baltimore County, member and former secretary of the Eastpoint Democratic Club. She loved gardening, crocheting and was an avid reader. She is survived by her daughter, Carole B. Radon-Mickley wife of Karl E. Mickley of Northampton, PA, two step granddaughters, Krissa wife of Chris Schlosser and Jennifer wife of Ryan Ott, both of Whitehall, PA, three step great-grandchildren, Jakob, Joshua and Gabrielle. She was predeceased by a sister, Beatrice Meyers and brothers, Harold and William Savage. Arrangements were handled by Schisler Funeral Home, Inc., 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA., where the family received friends from 6-7:30 P.M Wednesday, December 10, 2008. Funeral services were held at the Schisler Funeral Home at 7:30 P.M Wednesday, December 10, 2008, Rev. James Schlegel officiated. Services concluded with Interment and public graveside services at 12:30 P.M Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Baltimore, MD. Contributions may be made to L.V.
