Four men forced their way into a party in North Baltimore and robbed more than a dozen people late Thursday, city police said.
The robbery happened in the 400 block of E. Lake Ave., about three blocks west of York Road, shortly before midnight, police said. The home had been rented to four Towson University students since September, according to the home's owner, John Komsa III.
Reached by phone yesterday morning, Komsa said he had not been told about the home invasion at his property.
"I'll have to find out," Komsa said by telephone. "I haven't talked to them yet."
No one answered the door at the house yesterday afternoon.
According to police, the armed, masked intruders robbed the people - including one Towson University student - and struck one man, cutting his forehead.
Shortly after the incident, police initially reported that the victims were all Johns Hopkins University students, but a security official from that school later said they were not.
A Towson University spokeswoman said that the school did not have any information about the incident and that school officials had not spoken with any students who claimed they were at the house during the robbery.
No arrest has been made in the case.
