Central Baltimore

Assault Police were seeking two young men who attacked a homeless man in the 800 block of Guilford Ave. about 9 p.m. Wednesday. After demanding money from the man, one of the youths struck him with a stick when he refused their demand. While defending himself, the man, 52, retrieved the stick and struck one of the youths. Police said the youths fled and the victim was not seriously injured.

Southeastern Baltimore

Assault An unidentified woman and a man, 23, were arguing over money outside a store in the 2800 block of E. Baltimore St. about noon Wednesday when the woman cut the man on the right shoulder with a sharp object. The man was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. The woman was being sought.

Northeastern Baltimore

Robbery An employee of Radio Shack in the 5000 block of Sinclair Lane was locking the front door Wednesday at closing time, about 10 p.m., when a gunman robbed him of a bank deposit bag containing an undisclosed sum of cash.

Southwestern Baltimore

Robbery A boy, 16, was outside a store in the 200 block of N. Monastery Ave. about 8:40 p.m. Wednesday when a gunman struck him in the mouth and robbed him of his cell phone.

Southern Baltimore

Burglary A 24-foot extension ladder was stolen Tuesday from a shed in the 300 block of S. Payson St.

Baltimore Co. - Essex

Robbery Two men, one with a knife and the other a handgun, forced their way into a house in the 9900 block of Dehavilland Way about 6 p.m. Wednesday and were robbing the male occupant when two other men arrived. The armed pair forced the other men into the house, then robbed the occupant of a cell phone valued at $100 before fleeing.

Baltimore Co. - Pikesville

Robbery try A boy, 17, was walking along Labyrinth Road near Carla Road about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday when he was assaulted by three young men who attempted to rob him. Finding nothing of value, the three fled.
