Miss Belitz was born December 13, 1914 in Baltimore, Md. and she was a graduate of Goucher College. She served in US Navy as a Lieutenant during WWII in Europe, later she worked in the office of Naval Intelligence for the Far East. She taught Thai Military Cadets in Bangkok, Thailand. She was employed by the Central Intelligence Agency from 1950 to 1974 as an Intelligence Officer with most of her time spent in SE Asia. She was a lifetime member of Phi Beta Kappa, a member of the Women's Overseas Organization as well as a member of Elderhosle. She enjoyed walking and bird watching. Blanche passed away at Roland Park Place on November 18, 2008. Interment will take place at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements by the Ruck Towson Funeral Home Inc.
