THREE THINGS THAT NEED TO GO RIGHT ...
Joe Flacco continues to go deep. The Redskins will stack the box with eight players to force Flacco to beat them. The rookie quarterback has at least one touchdown pass of 30-plus yards in five of his past six games.
Defense delivers again. The Ravens have returned five interceptions for touchdowns this season (going 5-0 in those games). After not throwing an interception in the first eight games, Washington quarterback Jason Campbell has four interceptions in four games.
Pin the Redskins deep in their territory. The Ravens' Sam Koch has placed 24 punts inside the 20-yard line, which is tied for second in the NFL.
... AND THREE THINGS THAT COULD GO WRONG
Clinton Portis breaks loose. The Ravens have the NFL's third-ranked run defense, but they haven't faced a top-five running back. Portis is the league's No. 2 runner.
Red zone becomes dead zone. The Ravens had been scoring touchdowns at will inside the 20. But they managed just one touchdown in three red zone trips Sunday, their worst showing in three games.
Campbell has time to throw. The Ravens, who have 10 sacks in five games, need to force Campbell to get rid of the ball quickly. The Redskins have too many speedy weapons - Santana Moss, Antwaan Randle El and Chris Cooley - for the Ravens' coverage to contain.
