Clayton made another highlight-reel reception on third-and-five to put the Ravens inside the 5-yard line. Flacco then hooked up with tight end Todd Heap for a touchdown. Flacco was 4-for-4 for 60 yards on the drive.

After a sluggish first half, the Ravens' offense woke up in the third quarter behind big plays by Clayton. He threw a perfect 32-yard touchdown pass to fellow wide receiver Derrick Mason off a reverse, then made a stellar one-handed catch on a 70-yard bomb from Flacco.

Neither team did much in the quarter as reserves got into the action. Jordan Palmer, brother of Carson Palmer, the Bengals' starting quarterback when he isn't injured, threw an interception that Ravens safety Jim Leonhard returned 35 yards for a touchdown with 2:28 remaining to close out the scoring.
