JOHN JENKINS, 62, of Lighthouse Point passed away on November 13, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife Rebecca, two step-daughters, Pamela Kuntz and Tamara Peco, step-son Eric Grimes, three loving grandchildren, Kyle and Sarah Peco and Bria Kuntz. He is also survived by his brothers, George and Richard Jenkins, sister, Sharon Czajkowski, on niece and three nephews. He was born in Baltimore, MD and had an accomplished 39 year career with Bell Atlantic and Bellsouth Telecommunications. He was a dedicated and loving husband, step-father, Papa and friend, who touched the lives of all who knew him with his energy and care. John was a member of Unity Church of Delray Beach and served in various capacities, most recently as President of the Board of Directors. He and his wife dedicated much of their time to Elite Greyhound Adoptions in Loxahatchee, in effort to find homes for retired racing greyhounds. A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, November 23 at 1:00 P.M. at Unity Church of Delray Beach, 101 NW 22nd Street, Delray Beach, FL.
