Texans RB Steve Slaton vs. Ravens LB Ray Lewis

Slaton, a rookie, has a cutback style that can hurt the Ravens. The Ravens are so aggressive that they sometimes overpursue and lose lane responsibility. Lewis still runs sideline to sideline well and has good quickness. He'll be effective against the Texans because they don't have the personnel to handle defensive tackles Haloti Ngata and Justin Bannan.

Texans DE Mario Williams vs. Ravens LT Jared Gaither

Williams is the complete package of strength, power and speed. His first step allows him to get outside most blockers, and he can change directions instantly. Gaither has long arms and good initial explosion. He makes it difficult for opposing linemen to get into his body. Gaither, though, sometimes gets overextended on pass protection.

Edge: Williams:

Texans WR Andre Johnson vs. Ravens CBs Samari Rolle, Fabian Washington

Johnson is big, physical and the prototype receiver. He has acceleration, and because of his size, he is hard to knock off the line of scrimmage. Washington can match up with him physically on one side, and Rolle can run with him on the other. Look for the Ravens to mix their coverages to try to confuse Johnson as well as QB Sage Rosenfels.
