Don't fight it. On the last weekend before one of the most important elections in American history, go with the political flow when it comes to TV viewing.
SORTING OUT THE WEEK For an end-of-the-week analysis of all things political, no talk show does it better than Inside Washington. Host Gordon Peterson keeps the program moving at a brisk pace from topic to topic, but he is willing to stop things dead in their tracks to let the panel and viewers savor an especially tasty insight or remark (8 p.m., MPT-Channels 22 and 67).
THE POWER OF C-SPAN One of the stalwart performers of this election season has been C-SPAN, and if you want to see political coverage absolutely devoid of bias, check out Road to the White House, which has chronicled every step. (6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Sunday)
THIS C-SPAN, TOO Book Week on C-SPAN II almost always enlivens weekend viewing. But Sunday, there is a treat for area viewers as CBS correspondent and St. Timothy's grad Kimberly Dozier talks about her book, Breathing Fire, a compelling account of her recovery from a roadside bomb in Iraq. Dozier's book is a winner, and she is one of the smartest journalists in TV. (6 p.m. and 9 p.m . Sunday)
