Goodwill will accept donations at AACC

Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake will accept donations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday on the Arnold campus of the Anne Arundel Community College. Items most needed include childrens' and adults' clothing and shoes, towels, sheets, blankets, small kitchen appliances, glassware and dishes. Young professionals club holds networking event

Young Anne Arundel Professionals, a not-for-profit social club primarily for single professionals, will hold a networking event at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Rocky Run in Marley Station Mall, Glen Burnie, and at 6 p.m. Saturday at Hoyt's Cinema, 1140 Winterson Road, Linthicum. Centre at Glen Burnie plans Halloween event

The Centre at Glen Burnie will host a mall-wide Halloween Celebration from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 31.

Customers are requested to stop by the Toys R Us Courtyard and receive a free trick or treat bag, which will include a list of participating trick or treat stores, merchant coupons and surprises.

Morton's The Steakhouse to hold anniversary party

Morton's The Steakhouse will celebrate its one-year anniversary from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 21 at its Annapolis restaurant, The Westin Annapolis, 100 Westgate Circle.

The cost is $100 per guest. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel county.
