Children, families and staff members at seven Howard County schools are to benefit from information about resources and services available at North Laurel-Savage Multiservice Center.

Through a new partnership between the multiservice center and the Howard County school system, the center will share information about the health and human services it can provide. The center represents county agencies and organizations such as FIRN, Grassroots, Legal Aid, Family and Children's Services, and the Community Action Council.

Participating schools are Bollman Bridge, Forest Ridge, Gorman Crossing and Laurel Woods elementary schools; Patuxent Valley and Murray Hill middle schools; and Reservoir High School.

The North Laurel-Savage Multiservice Center is a cooperative venture by local nonprofit organizations to offer convenient, one-stop access to many social services. Members of the community can make an appointment or drop in to request assistance.

The North Laurel-Savage Multiservice Center is at 9105 All Saints Road, in the Whiskey Bottom Shopping Center.
