TURNING POINT: On third down with 5:50 remaining, Ravens linebacker-defensive end Terrell Suggs (right) was called for a questionable roughing-the-passer penalty. Referee Bill Carollo said Suggs hit quarterback Kerry Collins on the right side of the helmet, but Suggs said he hit Collins' arm. Instead of the Titans getting a false-start penalty, they received a first down. Eight plays later, Collins threw the game-winning touchdown pass, a 11-yarder to tight end Alge Crumpler.
FLACCO STRUGGLES: The Ravens' Joe Flacco (left) looked like a rookie quarterback for the first time this season. The first-round draft pick threw two interceptions, both of which came when he rolled to his right. The final one all but ended the Ravens' comeback chances with 1:24 left in the game.
ANOTHER MISS FOR MATT STOVER: The third-most-accurate kicker in NFL history missed a field-goal try for the third time in four games, but this was the biggest one because it came in a three-point game. His 45-yarder near the end of the first half - which came at the end of a haphazard two-minute drill - sailed wide right.
INJURY CONCERNS: Two starters - offensive tackle Adam Terry and cornerback Fabian Washington - will undergo magnetic resonance imaging today. Terry suffered a knee sprain and Washington a shoulder sprain. Wide receiver Derrick Mason (thumb) and tight end Daniel Wilcox (hand) will be examined further today.
THEY SAID IT: "We're the bad boys of football. They're always going to look at us like that because of the physical style of football that we play. They're always going to have that close eye on us." - Suggs, on whether the officials look at the Ravens more closely than other teams
COMING ATTRACTION: While the Ravens lost in the final two minutes of the game, their next opponent, the Indianapolis Colts, rallied late to win their game. The Colts scored 21 points in just more than two minutes to beat the Houston Texans, 31-27. Peyton Manning's 5-yard touchdown pass to Reggie Wayne was the game-winning score with 1:54 remaining.
