J.D. Hook rushed for an 8-yard touchdown with 43 seconds left in the game yesterday as Allegany upset visiting Mount St. Joseph, 23-21.

The No. 6 Gaels (3-1) had taken the lead in the fourth quarter on back-to-back touchdown runs by Renard Robinson before the Campers (4-1) capitalized on a fake punt with 2:35 left to set up Hook's winning score.

The fake came on fourth-and-15 and helped ruin Mount St. Joseph's comeback from 17-7.
