Assistance with wills offered

Attorney Jac Knust will be at Ellicott City Senior Center, 9401 Frederick Road, Ellicott City from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 22 for the 60 Plus Wills and Legal Screening Program.

Services include simple wills, powers of attorney, living wills, small estates and deed changes. The program is open to Howard County residents ages 60 and older. The cost is on a sliding scale.

The Miller branch library, 9421 Frederick Road, Ellicott City, will welcome adult needle crafters to its Pins and Needles sessions from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday and Oct. 23.

Take stitching, knitting or crocheting projects for an opportunity to meet people and trade ideas and tips.

Art club to meet

The Elkridge branch library, 6540 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, will sponsor a Middle School Art Club from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Participants can share art work and ideas, learn new techniques and work on their projects. Materials will be provided. Information: 410-313-5077.

The Miller branch library will offer a pumpkin-painting workshop for ages 10 to 14 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 25. Materials will be provided. Registration begins Saturday. Information: 410-313-1950.
