Tina Fey and Amy Poehler put the chemistry they honed during their years together on Saturday Night Live to marvelous comic effect in this comedy about a harried career woman (Fey) who has no time to be pregnant so she hires a surrogate and gets more than she bargained for with the irrepressibly earthy Angie (Poehler).
The film's supporting cast couldn't be sharper. The DVD includes deleted scenes, an alternate ending and a brief making-of feature.

One to avoid: Species Collection (MGM, $39.95). Bad sci-fi four times over, as 1995's Species and its three sequels detail the exploits of hot aliens.
One for the kids : The Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries: The Complete First Season (Warner Home Video, $19.98). That little bird and puttytat make like Holmes and Watson in this TV series.
One for the archive s: How the West Was Won (Warner Home Video, $22.95, $34.95 Blu-ray). While this star-studded 1962 salute to the Old West may be a bit overblown, certain sequences do impress. Directed by John Ford, George Marshall and Henry Hathaway.
