Eastern Baltimore

Stolen vehicle Police were seeking a 2004 Jeep Cherokee with tags 12477M8 that was stolen Sunday in the 1700 block of E. Monument St.

Northern Baltimore

Burglary Several DVDs, speakers and a laptop computer were stolen Monday from a house in the 4100 block of Falls Road in Hampden by someone who entered through a front window. The property was valued at $1,700.

Southeastern Baltimore

Stolen vehicle A blue 1997 Subaru Legacy with tags LVC 622 was stolen between Sunday and Monday in the 2800 block of Fleet St.

Stolen vehicle Police were seeking a red Subaru station wagon with tags WLD 480 that was stolen over the weekend in the 100 block of S. Collington Ave.

Theft An iPod and a DVD radio were stolen over the weekend from a 1997 Nissan Sentra parked in the 2300 block of Essex St. between Sunday and Monday.

Theft/arrest Officer Thomas Smith was in the 700 block of S. Curley St. about 4 a.m. Monday when he received information from a citizen that a man was attempting to open the doors of several nearby parked vehicles. In the 3200 block of Eastern Ave., the officer observed a man carrying a brief case and stopped him. Minutes later, a man identified the brief case as coming from his car. Arrested and charged with theft was Paul Travaugne, 30, of the 3000 block of Harview Ave., police said.

Baltimore Co. - Essex

Burglary Someone broke into Uncle Eddie's Restaurant in the 400 block of Eastern Blvd. through a rear window between Sunday night and early Monday and stole an undisclosed sum of money.

Baltimore Co. - Towson

Burglary A red 21-speed mountain bike valued at $100 was stolen from the rear yard of a house between Aug. 19 and Saturday by someone who jumped over the fence.

Baltimore Co. -- Cockeysville

Burglary A pressure washer was stolen between Aug. 3 and Monday from a shed in the 11000 block of Falls Road.

Baltimore Co. -- Franklin

Burglary Someone broke into a shed at Glyndon Gardens in the 200 block of Hanover Pike between Sunday and Monday and stole an air compressor, copper wire, a CB radio, stereo equipment and other property. Total value was more than $1,000.

Burglary Two chain saws, a circular saw, a pruner and a drill were stolen between Aug. 13 and Monday from a shed and a trailer in the 5600 block of Emory Road. Total value of the property was $3,000.

Robbery try Police were seeking two men, one armed with a knife, who attempted to rob Romero's Tienda Latina in the 10900 block of Reisterstown Road about 2:30 p.m. Monday. While one man held a knife to the throat of an employee and demanded money from the cash register, two customers attacked the armed man and his accomplice, causing both of them to flee without money or property.

Baltimore Co. -- Pikesville

Burglary Someone entered the deck of a house in the 900 block of Olmstead Drive early Monday and stole a cooler containing $30 worth of soft drinks.

Burglary A skateboard, two scooters, two basketballs and a football were stolen Monday from a house in the 600 block of McHenry Road.
