Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Assault : A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man, 50, who struck a woman, 55, in the face with a board during an argument outside a house in the 2500 block of E. Monument St. about 3 a.m. Tuesday. The woman was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Stolen vehicle : A black 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-240 with tags 8DM B17 was stolen Monday or Tuesday in the 1200 block of N. Bradford St.

Robbery: A man, 55, was riding a Yamaha scooter in the 800 block of Ensor St. about 7 a.m. Tuesday when two younger men grabbed him around the neck, threw him to the ground and stole the scooter.


Shooting: A man, 23, was walking in the 4300 block of Garrison Blvd. about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday when an assailant shot him in the left leg. The victim was driven by a friend to Sinai Hospital, where he was treated and released.


Theft : A navigational system valued at $450 was stolen Tuesday from a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche parked in the 3400 block of Esther Place.

Stolen vehicle : Police were seeking a green 1998 Subaru with tags 469 BFV that was stolen between Saturday and Monday in the 2900 block of E. Baltimore St.

Robbery: Police were seeking three men, one armed with a knife, and two women who attacked a man, 43, in the first block of S. Broadway about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday and robbed him of a cell phone and money.

Baltimore County


Vandalism: Police were seeking whoever used a sharp tool to carve graffiti on the sidewalk outside Essex Elementary School in the 100 block of Mace Ave. on Monday.

North Point

Theft: A 1986 green-and-white Harley-Davidson motorcycle with tags 12796LD was stolen Monday in the 1100 block of North Point Road.


Robbery: A gunman entered Family Dollar in the 7000 block of Liberty Road about 3 p.m. Tuesday and ordered three cashiers to give him the contents of their cash registers. The man escaped with an undisclosed sum.
