Baltimore's Fashion Week kicked off in high style at the War Memorial Building. And we're not even talking about the models in the KAS Collection show. We spotted model/nightclub hostess/college student Tiffani Hilton in the audience looking sleek, chic and unique. She put her fashion sense on display when she took an intermission stroll down the runway with fellow models who would be in other shows. Outside, in War Memorial Plaza, Hilton proved that even off the catwalk, her style is purr-fect!
Residence: Upper Marlboro
Job: Model, hostess at Pose Ultra Lounge in Washington and Prince George's Community College student
Self-described style: "Chic, glamorous and diva-licious."
The look: Silk chiffon purple, gold and white cropped blouson blouse. White V-neck cap sleeve T-shirt. Marciano by Guess jeans. Gold high-heel strappy sandals. Brass filigree necklace. Gold Ten Commandments slide bracelet. Cream nylon cargo tote handbag.
Where it came from: The blouse is from Bebe. She found the T-shirt and handbag at Forever 21. Her jeans came from the Guess store and her necklace from The Avenue, both at Tysons Corner Center. She's had her sandals "forever," and her bracelet is from Kay Jewelers.
She's never off the runway: "Fashion is very important to me; in fact, [it's] a priority. Every day is a fashion show."
If you're into fashion, you're into shopping: "I shop too much, others would say. But, indeed, shopping is my passion; a time where I can express myself. ... I shop ridiculously every chance I get. I mean, come on, fashion is always evolving, just as much as new faces in the modeling industry. A true fashionista is always up to date."
There's no stopping this shopper: "I walk into a store and decide quickly if this where I need to be. If it is, I will shortly be surprised with something fresh and different that catches my eye. Unfortunately, money isn't a big factor. If I like it, my name is written all over it. If it is [an expensive brand like] Dolce and Gabbana, I'm definitely looking for a bargain. If it isn't, then shop on."
Her fashion standards have been set by: "My lovely mother and grandmother. ... I would like to compare myself to my favorite fashion icon, Kimora Lee Simmons, and her exquisite sense of style. Why not look your best all the time?"
Her style rules because she has her style rules: "Be yourself. Everyone else is taken. And always dress to impress."
