So maybe you wince every time you pull into the gas station, but not America's wealthy. Robert Frank, a writer at The Wall Street Journal, describes how the super-rich in America continue to spend and prosper, creating their own country within a country. Frank attended black-tie balls in Palm Beach, sipped martinis on luxury yachts and hung around Ferrari dealerships to get the rich to tell their story. Remarkably, many did. What he found is that the rich are getting richer and their gain is the middle class' loss.
