Vote on bands for Rock 'n' Register
Harford Community College is offering the public a chance to help decide which rock bands will perform at its Rock 'n' Register event on Sept. 13 to encourage young people to register to vote.
Due to an overwhelming response from more than 50 bands to perform, the college has narrowed down the number of bands to 14. But time allows for only eight performances. A "primary election" for the bands is being held through Tuesday. .
Fans and potential attendees are encouraged to vote for their favorite bands at www.rocknregister.com. Voters can obtain information and listen to the bands online, then make their selection.
