Two men found shot early yesterday in a West Baltimore park died shortly after arriving at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, city police said.
Authorities said officers responding to reports of gunfire in the 1500 block of Moreland Ave. about 3 a.m. found the men lying wounded in Easterwood Park. The victims were rushed to Shock Trauma, where police said both were pronounced dead shortly before 4 a.m.
Police said the victims, described only as adult males, have not been identified and that no arrests have been made.
The deaths brought to 89 the number of homicides in the city this year, down from 137 at the corresponding time last year, police said.
