Red Sox update
The Orioles are 3-3 against Boston this season, but the teams haven't played at Fenway Park, where the Red Sox have the best home record in the major leagues at 26-6. The Red Sox have won 17 of their past 19 games at Fenway, where the Orioles are 4-14 over the past two seasons. With David Ortiz on the disabled list, J.D. Drew has put together an eight-game hitting streak during which he is 14-for-27 with four homers and 10 RBIs. Manny Ramirez, who joined the 500-home run club against the Orioles on May 31, has homers in five of his past eight games. Second baseman Dustin Pedroia is in an 0-for-18 slump. Rookie outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury, who hasn't played since straining his right wrist Thursday, could return to Boston's lineup tonight. Coco Crisp and Sean Casey, both suspended in last week's benches-clearing brawl with the Tampa Bay Rays, are available for the series. Starting pitcher Jon Lester is in the process of serving his suspension and will pitch in Thursday's series finale.
