Shooting: A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized after he was shot in the back in the 3700 block of Belle Ave. shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday. Details were not available and no arrest had been made.
Assault: A man, 45, was walking in the 300 block of Cornwall St. about 12:15 a.m. Tuesday after leaving his car when he was attacked by three younger men, one armed with a handgun, who struck him with their fists, and then fled on foot. The victim sustained face and head injuries and was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He was reported in good condition.
Cutting: A woman and a 26-year-old man were fighting in the 1100 block of N. Kenwood Ave. about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday when the man was stabbed in the left arm and the back with a sharp weapon. He was taken to Mercy Medical Center for treatment of nonlife-threatening injuries. A warrant was to be issued for the woman's arrest, charging her with first-degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon.
Vandalism: Police were seeking whoever drew a swastika on a wall at Cromwell Valley Apartments in the first block of Treeway Court, near Interstate 695, between 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday. Anyone with information is urged to call the precinct at 410-887-2361.
Vandalism: Someone entered the swimming pool area at Allyson Gardens Apartments in the 200 block of Frost Hill Drive over the weekend and threw at least 40 lawn chairs and at least one trash can into the pool.
Robbery: Two men, one armed with a handgun, entered the Subway Sandwich Shop in the 6600 block Baltimore National Pike about 9 p.m. Tuesday and forced two employees onto the floor. The bandits removed more than $200 from a cash register and fled on foot.
