Spring Flea Market set for today

The River Hill Community Association will hold its annual Spring Flea Market from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in the River Hill Village Center parking lot, 6020 Daybreak Circle, off Route 108 in Clarksville.

About 40 vendors will sell children's toys; household items; jewelry; baby clothes, toys and furniture; china; sporting equipment; books; and Pampered Chef and other products.

Teen space : The Glenwood Community Center's game room for teens is open 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The room, designed by teens, is for ages 12 and older. It includes a pool table, table tennis, bumper pool and a video game area with a big-screen television. After-school activities and programs are planned. An identification from the center is required. The program is provided with assistance from the Horizon Foundation. The center is at 2400 Route 97 in Cooksville. 410-313-4840.

Preschool programs : The Glenwood branch library, 2350 Route 97, Cooksville, will offer preschool classes for children to teach social skills, comprehension and the foundations of reading. An adult must accompany kids younger than 3. "Picture Book Parade," a 30-minute program of music and stories for ages 2 to 5, is to be offered at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays. Registration is not required.
