State track and field championships

WHEN: Thursday-Saturday

WHERE: Morgan State

OUTLOOK: There are a number of scenarios in which Harford County schools could do well. The Aberdeen and C. Milton Wright girls both could make some noise. Aberdeen has done well all season, winning the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference title last week by one point over C.M. Wright, but the Eagles will be in the tough Class 3A division that includes Meade. Still, they've found success in difficult meets. C.M. Wright's distance squad carried the school to the Class 4A state title outdoors. The Bel Air boys have been solid all season, but they're also in top-ranked Meade's class, and the Anne Arundel County school hasn't lost this season. Fallston and Harford Tech also should find success.
