Shooting : Police were seeking an unknown assailant who used a flare gun to shoot a man, 29, in the back while the victim and another man talked in an alley in the 300 block of E. 22nd St. about 11:15 p.m. Friday. The victim was driven by a friend to Johns Hopkins Hospital and was expected to survive.
Shooting: A woman, 47, was shot in the left side of the face about 11 p.m. Wednesday while she stood on the front porch of a house in the 900 block of N. Streeper St. and was taken by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she was treated and released. No arrest had been made. It was not known if the woman was shot by accident or was an intended target of an unknown assailant.
Burglary: Three large-screen TVs, a PlayStation, a DVD player and two camcorders were stolen from a house in the 1400 block of Aisquith St. between May 7 and Saturday by someone who entered through the kitchen door. The property was valued at $8,500.
Burglary: Power tools valued at $2,000 were stolen from a house in the 3000 block of E. Monument St. on Thursday or Friday.
Assault: A boy, 13, was walking in the 2400 block of Greenmount Ave. about 5:30 p.m. Friday when he was attacked by an older male armed with an unknown sharp object who stabbed him in the face, an arm and the stomach. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Children's Center.
Robbery : Two men were walking in the 500 block of E. 25th St. about 1:30 p.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed them of two cell phones and their money.
Purse snatching : Police were seeking a man who stole a woman's purse containing $60 as the woman, 60, walked in the 1800 block of Union Ave. about 10 a.m. Saturday.
Robbery : A male driver for Potomac Corp. was stopped in the 1100 block of Dundalk Ave. about 2:30 p.m. Friday when a gunman forced his way into passenger's side of the vehicle and ordered the man to drive off. A few blocks away, the gunman ordered the driver to stop and robbed him of more than $500 before fleeing on foot.
Assault: A man and a woman were assaulted Thursday by a man in the 200 block of S. Broadway. The woman suffered a minor arm injury, and the male victim was hit with a bottle that resulted in a minor laceration to his head. Neither victim required hospital treatment. Angelo Martinez, 28, of the 300 block of Drew St. was arrested and charged with multiple assault charges.
Robbery: Police were seeking two men, one armed with a .45-caliber handgun, and two women who entered a man's room in a hotel in the 700 block of Aliceanna St. about 3 a.m. Friday and robbed him of his wallet, cash, a set of keys and a watch. Total value of the property was $2,220.
Burglary : A TV, a camera, a watch and a computer were stolen Thursday from a house in the 2500 block of E. Fairmount Ave. by someone who entered through a rear door.
Stolen vehicle : A maroon 1990 Buick Century with tags BMS 183 was stolen Thursday or Friday in the 3500 block of Fait Ave.
Stolen vehicle : Police were seeking a gray 1988 Jeep Cherokee with no tags that was stolen Thursday or Friday in the 2700 block of Broening Highway.
Theft : A known male was in a relative's apartment in the 1600 block of East Ave. on Wednesday when he stole a 9 mm Taurus semiautomatic handgun that a male resident had been cleaning. The gun was valued at $600.
Theft: An iPod valued at $300 was stolen Thursday from a 2006 Honda Civic parked in the 1100 block of Baylis St.
Robbery: A man, 26, was walking in the 1000 block of Foxcroft Lane about 10:30 p.m. Friday when one of four young males struck him with a piece of wood. After being struck, the victim was robbed of a bottle of soda valued at less than $3. No arrests had been made.
Robbery: Police were seeking two men who robbed Bijoux Jewelers in the 10700 block of Falls Road of several pieces of jewelry of unknown value shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday. While one man removed jewelry from a display, his accomplice pulled out a handgun and ordered an employee to open a safe that contained more jewelry.
