Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Shooting -- A boy, 15, is recovering at an area hospital after an unknown person shot him in the right shoulder late Friday while the victim rode a scooter in the 1600 block of E. 25th St.


Robbery -- A man, 22, was walking in the 2400 block of N. Calvert St. about 8 p.m. Saturday when a man riding a bike and armed with a handgun robbed him of his wallet.


Shooting -- A man, 33, was walking near North Patterson Park Avenue and East Baltimore Street about 3 p.m. Friday when he heard shots and realized he had been shot in the right leg. The victim was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital. No arrest had been made.

Cutting -- A woman and a teenage boy were fighting on a playground in the 200 block of Ballou Court about 8 p.m. Friday when the boy was cut on the lower back with a kitchen knife. The woman fled and was being sought. The boy was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Baltimore County


Robbery -- Two brothers, ages 21 and 17, were drinking in woods near Torque Road Way about 10 p.m. Friday when they were assaulted by several youths who robbed them of a cell phone valued at $300. Both brothers suffered minor injuries and were treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

North Point

Arrests -- A mother, 40, and her two daughters were arrested Saturday when they attempted to leave J.C. Penney at Eastpoint Mall without paying for clothing and jewelry - all valued at $500. Their names were not available.


Burglary -- Two laptop computers, two watches, a computer hard drive, a large quantity of cigarettes, an iPod, two radios, perfume and a carrying bag - all valued at $3,140 - were stolen between Friday and Saturday from an apartment in the 8800 block of Blairwood Road.

Robbery -- A man, 53, was walking in the 1200 block of Wilson Ave. about 9 p.m. Friday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of a wallet containing $40.
