Jewels and Binoculars
The lowdown -- Jewels and Binoculars is what happens when years of musical experience form over a single passion. Bassist Lindsey Horner, reedist Michael Moore and percussionist Michael Vatcher came together through a love of Bob Dylan's music and set about interpreting it in a flowing jazz style. Saturday, the trio perform their vision of Dylan's work at An die Musik.

First Thursdays concert series
The lowdown -- Towson University's WTMD Radio kicks off its First Thursdays concert series today. The station invites everyone to while away the spring evening in West Mount Vernon Park with upbeat rockers Jukebox the Ghost and the XYZ Affair. Food and drink from vendors including the Brass Elephant and the Brewer's Art will be available, as will merchandise and CDs from both bands.
