Exhibit to mark Earth Day

Deer Creek Harmony Presbyterian Church will hold an art exhibit and sale, "Meeting God on the Ground II -- Touched By the Light," tomorrow through Saturday at the church on Route 161 at Harmony Church Road, Darlington.

The exhibit, which will honor Earth Day, will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

An artists' reception will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, with live music by Late for Supper, featuring Barb Schmidt, Todd Clewell, Jack Hoffman and Dave DeRan.

En Plein Air works by John Sauers, Greg Fletcher, Dave DeRan, Leslie Schwing, Bill Turner, Ruri Yi and Michael Gaudreau will be featured.

Other works include jewelry by the Amber Lady; and sculpture and forged iron works by Brent Crothers and Seth Barchowsky.
