Blatter scores 5 goals, but Goucher falls, 18-12

Goucher's Emily Blatter scored five goals for the 39th consecutive game, tying the second-longest streak in NCAA Division III history, but the Gophers lost, 18-12, to St. Mary's.

Blatter has scored at least one goal in every game she has played the past two seasons.

It took the Seahawks (10-4) less than six minutes to open a 6-0 lead. The Gophers (3-9) trailed 9-5 at halftime.

Frostburg State 23, Lancaster Bible 2 -- Katie Dannemann scored a game-high four goals, and the visiting Bobcats had their highest goal total of the season. Seniors Lindsay Lamont (Century) and Carly Rihard (North Carroll) and freshman Molly Mann each added three goals. Frostburg State (7-7) held a 34-5 shot advantage and won 25 draw controls.

Hood 17, Trinity 0 -- Sarah Balukoff and Brandy Noel scored five goals apiece to lead to the Blazers (4-11) past Trinity. Jen Graham and Kelsey Blackwell both scored two goals and Lauren Perzan, Brittany Hurt and Britney Colandreo added single goals for the Blazers, who led 12-0 at halftime. Lauren Lieb made two saves and picked up the third shutout of her career. The Blazers, winners of three in a row and four of their past five, return to action Sunday at Salisbury in the first round of the Capital Athletic Conference tournament.

York 21, C. of Notre Dame 7 -- The host Gators (7-5) were held to a season-low goal total. Tina Money had three assists and a goal in the loss.
